Student Support: Every Student, One Trusted Adult

Our student support framework is designed around the principle that every student deserves to be known deeply and supported intentionally.

At the heart of this system is the Tutor Program, where each student is connected with a trusted adult who mentors, guides, and advocates for them throughout their time at WK. Tutors meet regularly with students, provide feedback, track academic and personal development, and serve as a bridge between home and school.

The Life Schools curriculum, rooted in themes like family, identity, and community, is delivered through these tutor groups, grounding students in reflection, dialogue, and peer support. The Edwaleni Day Student Program, meaning extends student support into home life, strengthening the bridge between our campus and the homes of day students.

Systems of intervention and care are tiered this network of tutors, and care professionals forms the relational backbone of our learning environment. In every phase, we affirm that student success is built not just through academics, but through connection.
