CHAIR OF THE BOARD'S MESSAGE

Welcome to Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA

What defines Waterford Kamhlaba is not only our high academic standards or our diversity, but the way we live and learn together as a caring, values‑driven community. As part of the global UWC movement, we are guided by a shared mission to make education a force for peace and a sustainable future. We believe deeply in the worth of every student and are committed to ensuring that each child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Leadership at Waterford Kamhlaba is shared and expressed at every level of the school. Our students, staff, alumni, parents, and partners all contribute to shaping a community rooted in service, responsibility, and respect. Safeguarding and wellbeing are central to our work, and we are dedicated to creating an environment that supports the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of both students and staff.

Our Governing Council reflects a broad range of experience and perspectives and takes its responsibility seriously.Through strong governance, thoughtful policy development, and sound financial stewardship, we work to ensure fairness, inclusivity, and the long‑term sustainability of the school.

We value community representation deeply and appreciate the voices of parents and the broader alumni community, whose perspectives strengthen our work. We are equally grateful for the generosity and partnership of our donors, whose support makes it possible for talented students from diverse backgrounds to access a UWC education and for our mission to be realised in practice. We also remain thankful for the continued support and partnership of Eswatini society.

Together, we strive to educate compassionate, courageous leaders who will contribute positively to their communities and to the world.Welcome to Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA—a place where education, leadership, and purpose come together to create lasting impact.
