Latest Stories - Annual Careers Fair

Next Wednesday 25th July 2018 Waterford will host the annual Swaziland Careers Fair at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini, Eswatini, starting at 1pm. The Careers Fair is a community service venture organized by the school's IB2 Career Support Initiative students. Nearly ninety delegates have confirmed their attendance including the African Leadership University in Mauritius, University of Pretoria and University of Johannesburg from South Africa and UNISWA, SCOT and Limkokwing from Eswatini. They are joined by many other tertiary institutions and employers representing nearly every profession you can imagine from music to medicine, finance to forestry and design to diplomacy.

Waterford's Director of Admissions and University Adviser John Storer said, "More than 40 other high schools are coming from all regions of Eswatini and we are excited to engage with hundreds of young Swazis as they contemplate their futures. Some of our partners will be running parallel activities including motivational speaking, a chess challenge and health education so it promises to be an interesting afternoon."
