Latest Stories - School Energy Hub Officially Opened

On Saturday 18th November 2017 the Waterford Energy Hub was officially opened in the presence of the school Governing Council (GC) members.

The Energy Hub, built through the generosity of Michael Jarvis (WK ‘69), is a collaborative learning space for use by the school’s Earth Discipline departments in the efforts to build and stimulate awareness of sustainability issues. Speaking during the launch, chair of the Governing Council Dr. Mark Mills expressed appreciation to Michael Jarvis for supporting the project.

Michael Jarvis said he was happy to learn that the Energy Hub is used for different functions. At the end, joint SRC president Bantfubetfu Dlamini presented Michael Jarvis with a framed picture of the Energy Hub, on behalf of the school.
