Waterford Geography students led the school in celebration of Environment Week through a series of activities on environmental issues. This year’s Environment Week was themed “beat plastic pollution.” Students also got to be entertained but at the same time educated through a movie screening. The movie name was “Plastic Ocean” and one could learn the value of protecting the water bodies around us. Many students volunteered to go down the mountain from the school picking up leather and this activity was named “the leather walk”. There was also a plastic night social which was organized for students to come together in honour of the environment.
