Waterford Kamhlaba has passed its condolences on the passing of Martin Kenyon who served in the Waterford School Trust in London for over 50 years.

“It is with great sadness that Waterford Kamhlaba announces the passing of Martin Kenyon. Martin was one of the original trustees of the College in its inception in the early 1960s with the Waterford School Trust,” says WK principal, Patricia Angoy.

Angoy says Martin was instrumental in raising funds for the purchase of the land and building materials for the school on the old Waterford Farm in Mbabane, Eswatini. “He stood by our school for over six decades, a relationship that began even before Waterford became a reality in Eswatini. His interest in the indigenous plants of the region was supported by his efforts to create beautiful natural spaces, still enjoyed by our students and staff,” she says.
