Latest Stories - IB2 Mocktail Party!

On Friday 20 May 2022 Waterford's IB2 students gathered at the Centre for Creative Learning and Development (CCLD) on the Waterford campus for the annual Mocktail party. 

Dressed elegantly, the students were excited to have this event which was last held in 2020. The main purpose of the IB2 Mocktail party is to celebrate the IB journey and to introduce the students to the Alumni Relations function of the Advancement Office at Waterford and how they can get help as they plan for university and beyond.

The event was graced by the school principal Patricia Angoy who made remarks, wishing the students well in their life journey. WK’s Advancement Director Elizabeth Mhangami introduced the school’s Advancement Office and its roles to the students. “This is the office that makes sure that we have a permanent relationship as members of the WK community even after you graduate. We are here for you and it is important for you to start familiarizing yourselves with the office and its function. You can come and visit us anytime,” she said.

The students had a great time and enjoyed nice food and music throughout the evening.
