Latest Stories - Stern does it Again!

On Friday 14^th February 2020 Waterford Kamhlaba held its annual Inter-house Athletics competitions involving the school’s three houses – Guedes, Henderson and Stern. The latter did it again this year and got first position.

It was a great day with excellent weather. Guedes took the lead for the better part of the morning. However, Stern bested them in their cheers and won the spirit cup and their voices could be heard above everyone. Stern house successfully managed to hang on to its recent title as the champions for another year. Malebo Mohlaba (IB1) from Stern said, “Since last year, inter-house athletics day is being dominated by our house and we have risen from the ashes and soaring above all.”

The focus has now shifted to the inter-house swimming gala and most members of Guedes and Henderson houses were heard talking about the gala.
