Latest Stories - Term 3 Starts!
Term 3 has started on a high note, with the form 2 marimba group rendering a splendid performance during opening assembly on Tuesday 10th September 2019.
A majority of students were seen moving around campus with great energy and enthusiasm; some of them said they were already missing school during the holidays.
Delivering a welcome message to the students, Waterford's Deputy Principal (pastoral) Donovan King encouraged them to live UWC values such as promoting peace, tolerance and deliberate diversity. He mentioned that it was important to live intentionally and to promote these values in the face of a world that is becoming more violent, highlighting recent issues in some countries around the world. "We continue to be guided by our mission of striving to lay the foundation for our students to become responsible citizens who have the skills, knowledge and sense of purpose to provide leadership in both Africa and the world," he said.
