Latest Stories - 12th eSwatini Annual Careers Fair

The 12^th eSwatini Annual Careers Fair, held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini on Wednesday 24^th July 2019, was a great success. As usual, the event started at 13h00 and throughout the afternoon students from around the country visited various stalls by companies and tertiary institutions who had come to exhibit and engage the students on different career options within their organizations. Waterford’s Admissions Director and University Advisor John  Storer thanked Old Mutual for sponsoring the Careers Fair. “We are also grateful to the various organizations and individuals for supporting the the initiative,” he said.

The Career Support Initiative is a Waterford Community Service project, organized by IB2 students and financially supported by Old Mutual. The event brings together high school students from around eSwatini with the objective of helping them to access career information from a number of companies and organizations so that they are able to choose their career path from an informed position. It has grown in size over the years and now over 2000 high school students participate in the event in which many companies come to exhibit. This year, over 90 organizations were participating.
