Latest Stories - 280 Current Davis UWC Scholars from Waterford

There are currently 280 Davis UWC Scholars from Waterford. 

This was revealed by Philip O. Geier who is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Davis UWC Scholars during a meeting of UWC Heads and Davis UWC Scholar Partner Liaisons at St Olaf on 6-8 March 2019.

He commended the participants for taking the opportunity to get to the meeting. “On the strategic level, just a reminder that Davis philanthropy has been and remains committed to investing in greater educational opportunities for both current UWC students and UWC graduates,” he said. He mentioned that there are currently 3113 current scholars on 96 American universities. Of these, Waterford has 280 scholars benefiting from the programme.
