Emhlabeni’s Karaoke Night.
As IB students, not only extended essays bring us closer, but also fun nights, such as the karaoke night.
On Saturday the 2nd March, we invited the boarders from Elangeni (the other IB hostel) over, as well as the day students, to perform with us, and enable us to have a good night! At the end of this activity, we not only realised we weren’t very good singers, but we also found that we became even closer to members of our corridors/blocks, as we were competing as teams made up of those neighbouring us. The day students won, but as the prize was food, and the boarders are known to be starving kids, they generously shared it with the runners-up, inhabitants of the “Bee Hive” corridor, in Emhlabeni. A special thank you goes to the members of the team that made this event possible.
